Seaweed Ringby Lores

This ring was sculpted in 3D design and cast into 9k yellow recycled gold before being finished by hand.

Seaweed plays an important role in marine ecosystems, providing food and shelter for ocean life, while absorbing and storing carbon which helps combat ocean acidification. The plant itself is mesmerising to watch move under the water, ebbing and flowing with the rhythm of ocean currents. These long gentle lines served as inspiration for this piece.
